Here is a list of various websites that I believe are helpful as well as engaging and interactive in the classroom. These websites grab the attention of many students while it aids in subjects including math, science, and language arts. These resources can be used at school, but it is also encouraged to use them at home as well!

Description: BrainPOP is a website that has many videos that cover many subjects in school. It works well for grades K-8, it also has a section called BrainPOPJr for younger students. This website aids students with vocabulary and reading. Students are also able to take grade-level quizzes that reflect what they have watched. This website also allows creative tool which means students can create their own movies, practice coding, and learn to use a concept map.



Description: Starfall is a resource that targets grades Prekindergarten- 5th Grade. This website helps students learn to read, practice phonics depending upon what grade they are in, and teach them math. They learn reading and math by playing games and having books on there that read to the students but highlight the word they are on to assist the students with word recognition.



Description: ABCmouse is a website that targets preschoolers-second grade. This website also aids students in reading, math, science, art, and music. It also has a progress tracker so parents as well as teachers see where the students are and understanding which areas do, they need more practice in and what areas are they comprehending. They are 850 lessons that students are able to go through.



Description: PBS Kids is another resource that is interactive and uses games to teach students subjects. These games range from math to reading to science. PBS Kids covers many topics that teach students things such as engineering, learning about feelings, another language, and more.





Description: This website also is an interactive website that targets grades Prekindergarten- Eight Grade. Fun Brain has many games that are designated for grade appropriate levels as well as books that are appropriate for the reading level of the grade. Students are able to select what grade they are in, and the site directs them to the resources that they should be learning and focusing on.




Description: This website is a little special, not only does it help with students and their learning, but it helps teachers as well! Education.com aids in grades Preschool- Eighth Grade. Students are able to play games that go over English language arts, math, and science. This website is also great for teachers because teachers are able to get lesson plans from here that aligns with what the students are playing and learning. There are also worksheets that can be printed and used during class time.




Description: IXL serves those in grades Prekindergarten- Twelfth Grade. This allows them to learn math, science, social studies, language arts, as well as Spanish. They are able to work on their skills and even have the advantage to go to the subject they are struggling with and click on the tab that focuses on the skill they need to work on.







Description: Reading and writing can be boring for students at such a young age, but that's why there is Nigh Zoo Keeper! This website makes reading and writing fun and enjoyable for students that are in elementary school. They are able to improve grammar, punctuation, spelling, and vocabulary. 





Description: Splash Learn is another website that has multiple games that help students with math and language arts.





Description: Code Monkey is a great website to introduce to younger students because it not only helps with math but also, they learn how to code. This can be a useful tool for them when they grow up and go to their own careers.
