Education Philosophy

My Education Philosophy

My education philosophy would be that everyone is deserving of an education, and it should continue to be free. I also believe that the connections between students and teachers are very important for a good and productive school year. When students feel as though their teachers understand them and can relate to them, they are often more accepting to learning and participating. Boundaries should always be established in the classroom and those boundaries are also respected regardless of if the student or educator set them. Each child deserves to be met exactly where they are at, so they feel seen and heard by their teachers. Our student's wellbeing should always be our main priority as educators. The way that educators teach should be centered around and catered to the learning style that majority of the students learn on. The curriculums should be catered to students as we move with time, we shouldn't be still teaching the same curriculums over and over as a rinse and repeat method.
